I have read and enjoyed all of Jean Grainger's books so I was looking forward to the sequel to The Tour. I enjoyed revisiting some of the characters from The Tour,but this really could be a stand alone book too. As with all of her books, the characters draw you in gradually, the storyline flows gently and you're hooked. The secondary characters are delightful, and Ireland shines. Lest this sound like fluff, it is not, as there are issues like end of life for one of the characters, which I thought was different and handled beautifully. This is a sequel to "The Tour: A Trip Through Ireland" with another group of travelers being guided by Conor O'Shea. This tour includes a priest who is leaving the priesthood and the love of his life who is pregnant with his baby who are both hiding from her mobster father and friends who are trying to kill them. As I have found with both of Jean Grainger's books that I have read to date, she takes her time introducing the characters and setting the stage which really draws the reader in.This is an exciting book with a surprising ending and I recommend it even if you haven't read the first book in the series.
